Thomas White

b. 4 January 1834, d. 17 May 1895
Thomas White, son of James White and Phoebe Stoner, was born on 4 January 1834 at Kemptville, Ontario.1

When Thomas was 12 years old the family moved from Kemptville to Westmeath Township, Renfrew County and settled near the town of Beachburg.2

Thomas married Mary Brown, daughter of David Brown and Ann Sweetman, on 24 January 1856 at Westmeath Township, Renfrew County.1

On 12 January 1872 Mary and Thomas were given land that Mary's father, David Brown, had purchased from Edward Malloch of Ottawa. The property was the N 1/2 lot 15, concession 1 EML, Westmeath Township.3 Thomas and Mary sold that lot later in the year on 8 November 1872.4

Thomas died on 17 May 1895 at Westmeath Township, Renfrew County, Ontario, at age 61.2,5
