This section of the site contains the Kostash-Wulff-Jago-Heyes family tree. Details are suppressed for living people except for bare minimum information from their parents' pages.
The tree is essentially split into four separate trees, one for each of my grandparents. You can navigate the four parts either from the individual page for each grandparent, or from their pedigree pages.
- Myroslav Kostaszczuk, aka Marshall Kostash - pedigree
- Eva Mae Wulff - pedigree
- Charles Alfred Jago - pedigree
- Margaret Edith Heyes - pedigree
At this time I am publishing only a part of the full family research that I have done. I am starting initially with all of my ancestors back as far as I have gone where I have reasonable confidence in my conclusions, and forward one generation for each person to include children. In some cases I have also included spouses for those children. I will add in more generations over time.
A note on transliteration: My paternal ancestors came to Canada from Ukraine. The Ukrainian language is written using the Cyrillic alphabet. For this site I need to use the Latin alphabet to spell Ukrainian names (such as Kostaszczuk). English-speaking and German-speaking creators of historical records had to do the same thing, and there was a wide variety of transliterations and phonetic spellings in the records. For this site I have settled on transliterations that appear most frequently in the historical records of the late 19th and early 20th century. These transliterations are most likely not those accepted today.
