Richard Heyes, son of James Heyes and Ellen Meadows, was born at Whiston, Lancashire, England,3 and baptized on 25 December 1819 at Prescot, Lancashire.3

Richard was an engineer in 1841 at Sutton, St. Helen's.4

Richard married Ellen Sharratt, daughter of James Sharratt and Mary Dobson, on 30 January 1842 at Prescot, Lancashire, England.5,6

Richard died after the 1871 census and before the 1881 census.
