Sam Gregory

b. circa 1895, d. 21 January 1967
Sam was born circa 1895. Within two years of meeting, Sam and Annie were married. They moved to a farm only a couple of miles away from Annie's parents' farm in the district of Sich-Kolomea.

Sam and Annie were very involved in the cultural life of their community, particularly in their involvement with the local Ukrainian Orhtodox church. Sam and Annie were also both involved in the staging of plays and other public concerts.1

Sam and Annie sold their farm to thier son, Bob, in 1950 and moved to Edmonton to begin their retirement.

Sam died in 1967. Annie continued to live in Edmonton and remained an active member of St. John's Ukrainian Orthodox church. Even well into her 70s Annie would manage the cooking for large community gatherings that would often have hundreds in attendance.1
Sam died on 21 January 1967 at age at an unknown age .
